Wuxi Xizhu Cage Co., Ltd., brand name Xizhu, was initially established in 1972, is the leader f manufacture of engineering plastic bearing cages in China. Xizhu has specialized in the manufacture and sale of all kinds of engineering thermoplastic cages; its product range has more than 8,000 different sizes and sold over 400 million cages per annum. The other products of the company are various types of plastic seal rings, plastic bearings as well as engineering plastics parts used for autos.

Xizhu is a member of drafting committee of National Industry Norm for engineering plastics cages. The Xizhu’s main products include engineering plastic cages used for deep groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, spherical roller bearings, needle roller bearings, angular contact ball bearings, taper roller bearings, thrust ball bearings, cylindrical roller thrust bearings, linear ball bearings, water pump bearings and other special types of bearings. We have supplied our products to bearing companies such as Harbin Bearing Group Corporation, Wafangdian Bearing Group Corp., Luoyang LYC bearing Co., Ltd., Xiangyang Automobile bearing Co., Ltd., KOYO Needle Bearings (WuXi) CO., Ltd., Changzhou Guangyang Bearing Co., Ltd., C&U Group, Cixing Group Co. Xizhu cages are manufactured using special raw material from BASF Co. and Du Pont Co., as well as other polymers with high temperature resistance and excellent properties, such as PA46, PEEK and etc., machined and tested by the up-to-date facilities. Xizhu is equipped itself with a complete sets facilities for moulds manufacture such as imported CNC vertical machining center, wire cut EDM-LS, CNC lathes and etc. and various types of instruments for testing, such as three-coordinates measuring machine, horizontal and vertical projector and etc., as well as full automatic injection moulding machines with computer and numerical control. We possess an expertise team and more than 40 year’s experience. We are sure that it is the best quality products. In 1995 we awarded the certification of national level new product of plastic cages for roller bearings. We have already built stable quality control system and obtained ISO 9002:1994 certification from BVQI in 1998 and TS 16949:2009 certification in 2009.

Company History:

Wuxi Xizhu Cage Co., Ltd., Original name Wuxi County Plastics plant, was initially established in 1972, first developed and produced plastic cages used for textile bearings in domestic and became specific plant of ministry of textile industry. Special raw material from BASF Co. has been used from 1982.

In 1988, we have developed plastic cages cooperated with Shanghai Bearing Co., Ltd. for manufacture domestically of Santana and became a supplier to Shanghai Volkswagen. The products were awarded the eighth Jiangsu Provincial superior new product gold medal.

In 1989, we have developed all kinds of engineering plastic cages used for rolling bearings in technical collaboration with Luoyang Bearing Research Institute and became a supplier to HRB, ZWZ, LYC and etc. We have convened bearing factories to carry on technological exchange and popularized engineering plastic cages presided over by Luoyang Bearing Research Institute. The “Plastic Cages for Short Roller Bearings” were awarded the certification of national level new product in 1995, and the ninth Jiangsu Provincial superior new product gold medal.

In 1993, we drafted the Industry Norm JB/T 7048-1993《Rolling bearing engineering plastic cage specification》and JB/T 6638-1993《Glass fiber reinforced polyamide specification for rolling bearing cages》together with Luoyang Bearing Research Institute, and awarded the science and technology progress third prize of ministry of machinery industry in 1995. We participated in the revise of JB/T 7048-2002《Rolling bearing parts-plastic cage- specification》in 2002.

In 1998, ISO 9002:1994 Quality Management System has been widespread applied in our company and accredited by BVQI of France at the end of 1998; it has been also transformed into ISO 9002:2000 in 2001. ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management System has been accredited by OQS of America in September 2009.

In 2006, we newly built workshop in the development zone for expansion of production and developed railway bearing plastic cages cooperated with Ministry of Railways, Dalian DZ Bearing Co., Ltd. and Wafangdian Bearing Group Corp. The new product has been passed the bench test and is being carried out on the road test at present.
